Ondo Election: Iroko cutting Jagaban to size

Barring any miracle, the proxy political battle between Governor Olusegun Mimiko (Iroko) and Senator Bola Tinubu (Jagaban) seems to be ending in favour of Iroko who is coasting home to a landslide victory in the election held on Saturday.
It would be recalled that before and during the campaigns, Jagaban promised to cut down Iroko.

If results from some of the Polling Units and Wards are indication of the situation in the entire State, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) is in for a big shocker as the candidate of the Party  Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu was reportedly defeated in his Ward.

In line with our policy, ionigeria.com will only published results after they have been officially released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). However, reports reaching us points to the re-election of the incumbent governor.
