NJC refuses to recall Justice Salami

According to reports reaching us, when the issue was raised by some members of the NJC, majority of the members contended that all matters relating to Justice Salami’s recall should be put in abeyance until all the cases were concluded

Pending cases in court include the one instituted by Justice Salami himself challenging his suspension and seeking to determine his lawful employer and another by National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

When Justice Salami’s issue was to be discussed, It was gathered that the council requested the acting president of the court of Appeal, , Justice Dalhatu Adamu, to excuse the meeting since it was taken alongside his continued stay in office in acting capacity.
