In a series of tweets on Sunday, Odemwingie took a shot at a couple of figures in the national team including former coaches Samson Siasia and Lars Lagerback and team captain Joseph Yobo.
Odemwingie expressed displeasure at being dropped from the national team and might have played his last for the team having said in a tweet: "Keshi has no footballing reasons not to invite me but is not saying the truth. He is still in my plans he said haha coach u no dey [you’re not in] my plans.”
