Since the helicopter reportedly burst into flames immediately after the crash, there are fears that all the passengers in the chopper might have died.
Checks reveal that others in the crash include a leading politician from Kaduna State, Dudas Tsoho, Azazi’s orderly, the pilot and his co-pilot.
All of them were returning from Bayelsa State, venue of the funeral of the father of Douglas Oronto, the special adviser to the president on strategy, when the helicopter crashed into the creeks.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has already initiated a search-and-rescue operation for the victims.
