Reports say that the players, on Wednesday, sweated for three hours under Assistant Coach Monday Odigie, ahead of the match.
The team needs a win on Friday, for it to hope for favourable results from other venues, to determine their final position on the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) table.
Rangers are third on the table with 61 points, while Kano Pillars top the chart with 64 points and Lobi Stars of Makurdi is at the second position with 63 points.
Odigie told newsmen after the session at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, that the team could not afford to lose the match.
``We will do our best and leave the rest to God,’’ the assistant coach said, stressing that the team was putting finishing touches to its preparations.
``As you can see, we have trained this morning. We will have another training session in the evening and all is for the match ahead,’’ he added.
Reports say that the 2011/2012 league season is expected to be rounded up on Friday.
