PDP ratifies re-admission of Fayose

This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by Mr Olisa Metuh, the party`s National Publicity Secretary.

The decision, according to the statement, which takes effect from Sept. 14, was reached at the end of the 315th regular meeting of the party`s NWC.

The NWC also approved a waiver for Fayose in line with the provision of the party`s constitution with effect from  Sept. 14,  2011.

``By this action, Dr. Fayose is cleared to enjoy all rights and privileges of a member of the PDP without let or hindrance.’’

The NWC also approved the constitution of a National Campaign Committee for the forthcoming governorship  election in Ondo State.

The 32-member committee of eminent Nigerians, has Vice President Namadi Sambo as Chairman while the party`s National Legal Adviser, Mr. Victor Kwon, would serve as the Secretary.
