The 19-year-old Rivers Angels player, who has four goals at the on-going FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan, described the claims as false aimed at jeopardizing her football career.
Ordega, who is expected to feature for the national team in Saturday’s third place match-off against the hosts, Japan was cited in a report on Swedish website, fotbollskanalen that Jitex had reached an agreement to sign the player owing to her splendid performance in Japan.
"l have been inundated with calls and mails from friends, club mates and family relatives back home in Nigeria congratulating me for what l do not know anything about," said Ordega.
"It is even more worrisome when there has been no contact whether verbally or orally with the so-called club in the past or now. I am extremely sad to hear this," added the striker.
The club claims to have reached an agreement with a Summer Football Centre in Nigeria saying Ordega would be the first Nigerian player to be contracted to the club.
