Oladehinde, the Director, Ogun State Action Committee on AIDS (OGSACA), told newsmen in Abeokuta that it was not well designed.
She said that the usage of the condom was uncomfortable and sometimes unbearable.
`It is not something you can quickly put on without your partner knowing. It is noisy and so oily that it makes your hands messy.
``You really have to hold it during sexual activity because it cannot stay by itself.
``So, there is no way a man will not know. It is very uncomfortable. That is why many women are not accepting it,’’ she said.
Oladehinde called on the inventors of the condom to carry out more researches on it and modify it to make it more effective.
