A statement by Mrs Harriet Wereko-Brobby, the firm’s General Manager, Corporate Affairs, in Lagos on Tuesday, said that the loss of pressure was noticed at the Lome, Togo segment, on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
The statement said that WAPCo had subsequently stopped all gas deliveries to its onshore stations.
According to the statement, the firm is working closely with the government agencies and other relevant organisations to investigate the cause of the incident.
It said that supplies would resume immediately the fault was rectified.
