Northern Governors' Forum congratulates Oshiomhole over his re-election

The forum’s Chairman, Gov. Babangida Aliyu of Niger, described Oshiomhole’s re-election as victory for the North, a statement signed by Aliyu’s Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo, said on Monday.

``Four years on, the Kaduna boy has not disappointed his people. He has constructed roads, built schools and resuscitated the economy of Edo State.

``Oshiomhole’s  re-election is a resounding victory that shows that democracy is beginning to take roots in the country and a reward for his service to the people,’’ he said.

Aliyu urged the re-elected governor to use the new term of four years to consolidate on the good work he started during his first tenure.

He advised Oshiomhole to extend a hand of fellowship to those, who were defeated at the poll, adding that an all-inclusive government could bring about the desired change for a better Edo.

Aliyu thanked the people of the state for their continued belief in Oshiomhole’s leadership, and urged them to continue to keep faith with him.

He urged those, who lost out in the election to join hands with the governor in the overall interest of the state.
